People & Culture (HR) Coordinator

The People and Culture Coordinator will undertake a variety of Human Resources administrative duties and will directly assist the P&C Manager, while upholding the utmost confidentiality.  You will work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the running of the hotel’s HR operations, and will maintain consistent and accurate ambassadors records. Your daily duties will involve a substantial amount of research, audits, and project management. The successful candidates will have a friendly demeanor and will be providing a warm and welcoming face for the People and Culture Office, and most importantly will build credibility and trust amongst all ambassadors.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize, maintain and update ambassadors [employees] HRIS information
  • Correctly file and consistently update all ambassadors’ records, ensuring that they are kept confidential
  • Provide written and verbal employment verifications
  • Process invoices and expenses for People & Culture
  • Audit records and ensure the company’s compliance with existing employment laws and regulations
  • Service as first point of contact for all ambassador’s questions
  • Liaise with corporate HR Generalist in regards to all benefit-related enquiries
  • Support Director of Payroll with payroll processes and enquiries
  • Communicate and address with P&C Management and hotel’s leaders all ambassadors concerns in a timely manner
  • Create and distribute daily hotel wide newsletter and calendars
  • Assist in preparation and coordination of special events
  • Handle confidential documents and information
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Good time-management, with multi-tasking skills
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible
  • Broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience using HR software and HRIS databases preferred
  • Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication and empowerment to all internal and external guests
