General Manager

The Mirador General Manager is driven and passionate about delivering the highest quality Food & Beverage experience, as well as providing the best service to guests. Total responsibility for elevating the Restaurant, the Bar(s) general standards, with a high emphasis on coaching and mentoring the teams. You will understand how to maximize the Restaurant operations profits without compromising service excellence, and will inspire your teams and leaders toward the same goal. You will address and reinforce the staff retention through consistent communication, clear succession plan and by engaging dedicated and caring ambassadors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assume responsibility for the quality of internal and external guest experience
  • Identify and implement processes to improve the consistency of service excellence
  • Meet or exceed financial budgets and forecasts
  • Review staffing levels to ensure guest experience and operational needs are met
  • Support recruitment efforts, monitor activities of personnel and take disciplinarian action if needed
  • Translate the overall restaurant strategy into day-to-day execution
  • Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction while working toward patterns resolution
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure alignment in goals and focuses
  • Monitor the operations of all outlets including food and beverage quality, pricing strategies and cost efficiency
  • Partner closely and collaboratively with leaders throughout the entire hotel
  • Identify and develop both recruitment strategy and internal succession plan to lower the outlets staff turnover
  • Drive ambassadors’ performance improvement through focused development of direct reports’ leadership skills
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader

  • Must be organized, able to multi-task, and easily adapt and respond to change
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills 
  • Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication and empowerment to all internal and external guests
