Room Attendant

The Room Attendant's role is to make sure that our rooms and public areas remain clean and tidy at all time. You will provide friendly, attentive, and timely service ensuring that guest rooms and related areas are looked after and meet the hotel quality standards. You will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every guest, ensuring that guest rooms are comfortable, inviting and spotless. The ideal candidate will uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning resources
  • Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly
  • Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping
  • Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash
  • Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED 

  • Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to lift, bend and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate in the English language 
  • Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication and empowerment to all internal and external guests
