A server is above all to be passionate about the people he or she is taking care of, the product we serve, and the team of hospitality professionals of which they are a part.  Servers guide restaurant guests though their dining experience by creating personalized experiences based what each individual guest wants. Servers provide expert recommendations related to both food and beverage.  These professionals must be knowledgeable about all items on the food, cocktail, beer, and wine menu.  Additional required knowledge includes cook and prep times, menu pairings, and ingredient listings.  Servers are responsible for providing unobtrusive, knowledgeable, and genuine service.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of POS Systems
  • Elevated wine and beverage knowledge
  • Able to lift at least 35 lbs
  • Able to work for extended hours on your feet
  • Elevated food knowledge
  • TABC certified
  • Texas food handlers certified

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • As a server you will be responsible for arriving to work on time
  • Presentable to the standards of the Mirador management team
  • You will also be responsible for walking the guest through an exceptional dining experience and ensuring the needs of the guests are met with warmth and hospitality
  • You will also be responsible for the daily set up and breakdown of the restaurant as well as cleanliness and maintenance throughout the shift.
