PT Front Desk Bellman

Role/Purpose/Overall Expectations Of This Position:

As Joule Bellman, you will fill a pivotal role in helping to deliver exceptional guest service and to make sure high standards are maintained. You’ll welcome all our guests, making everyone, from business people to locals, feel like our only guest. You’ll make sure every guest is looked after upon arrival and during all stages of their stay until the very moment of their departure.

Weekends Only

Outline Of The Role:

  • Offer a warm welcome and departure experience t our guests in accordance with the Joule Hotel Company’s standards in addition to Forbes, AAA and Luxury Consortia Standards
  • Promptly answer, record and process al guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns
  • Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints and take appropriate action and follow up
  • Assist guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
  • Take initiative in accommodating the guests’ needs by working closely with all departments within the hotel
  • Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
  • Preform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader
  • Responsible for knowledge of all hotel events provided by group resumes
  • Responsible for receiving and providing Pre-Shift information along with running daily reports complete daily checklist
  • Assist and facilitate VIP arrivals and stay
  • Assist with meeting VIP on arrivals and departures
  • Assist with general bellman duties when needed

Key Skills Required:

  • Available to work a varied schedule that will include evenings and weekend
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible
  • Must posses the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication and empowerment to all internal and external guests
  • Opera PMS, Alice PMS experience preferred

Experience/Education Requirements:

High School Diploma preferred

Minimum of 1 year Bellman experience at a comparable quality property preferred
