Job Title:Front Desk SupervisorRole/Purpose/Overall Expectations Of This Position:The Supervisor is a highly visible role assisting the management team in the day to day running of the Front Desk. You will help the leadership team oversee and supervise the Front Desk operations, including orders and inventory of all front office supplies, department staffing according to hotel business and forecast, and guidance of fellow team members. The Supervisor will also effectively and proactively monitor the daily organization and cleanliness of the front desk, ensuring that the highest quality of service is being provided to all our guests.Expected Schedule:Variable Schedule including some weekends and holidaysOutline Of The Role:• Provide leadership, direction, and prioritize the departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and effective• Supervise staff and collaborate with front office management team to meet department’s objectives• Review staffing levels to ensure the highest guest experience, while supporting recruitment effort in the department• Identify training and development needs for fellow front desk ambassadors• Proactively interact with guests to exceed expectations and create loyalty• Handle and address all guests concern/complaints in a timely and efficient manner• Continually ensure that all aspects of the front desk are up to hotel standards, and guest expectations• Oversees proper functionality of the front desk daily operations• Complete and communicate appropriate reports, including daily check lists, end of day notes• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leaderKey Skills Required:• Refined verbal and written communication skills• Exceptionally detail oriented with impeccable service and presentation standards• Display elevated guest services standards• Exhibit elevated hotel operations knowledge• Display leadership in guest hospitality and create a positive atmosphere for internal and external guests• Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds• Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication and empowerment to all internal and external guestsExperience/Education Requirements:High School Diploma preferred2+ years experience in a leadership role in hospitality
